Deep Tissue Massage – doesn’t mean deep pressure.

Deep tissue massage focuses on releasing the deeper and more restricted layers of muscle and connective tissue. Most often slow strokes are used to concentrate on areas of chronic pain or tension.

You may feel a little discomfort at certain points during this technique; this is completely normal. However it is important to communicate with your therapist if pressure or technique adjustment is needed. We like to say it should only be a “hurts so good” pain. Our therapists can provide varying depths of pressure throughout your session.

Helps with: Sciatica, chronic muscle pain, pain, stiff neck and upper back, sore shoulders, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injuries, postural problems, range of motion, etc.
